Sorry for not updating in awhile! I've been checking in here and there, but no art to speak of, unless you count writing, but I probably won't be posting that up.
I got and lost that job at the veterinary clinic, all in six days. Let's just say it was not the greatest experience. They let me go before the start of my seventh day, saying that "communication with training just isn't working." I think it meant they didn't like how I couldn't learn the job in six freakin' days, but it was a hard job that I am thankful I don't have anymore, despite it being my first full time job. And despite it being a not-so-great experience, I learned that I like working with a team instead of being bossed around like a slave.
With that out of the way, I'm going back to school for a Geology class and an art class (Glass Slumping!) so that I don't go insane from lack of stimulation. I landed a less-than part-time job at a clothing retail place (rhymes with Casey's) doing merchandising early in the morning. I've prepared my taxes and my FAFSA for financial aid in the fall for a different college where I will be enrolled in the Sound Engineering program! I was really surprised when I heard it was offered, so I'm giving it a shot and we'll see how it goes.
My car is paid off, I'm in a healthy relationship with both my boyfriend and my family, and I have a roof over my head. I don't think there's anything I could ask for. Well. A job I love and my own place, but hopefully that will come in time.
I'm working on finishing part 2 of last year's NaNoWriMo and polishing it up enough to get it printed with CreateSpace. I like the story, but I finally settled into writing the characters as how they're supposed to be. In the first part, I wasn't quite sure who they were, and now that I read part 1 again, I really, really dislike it. >_< I'll fix it some day. Can I get paid for editing my novel? Please? No? Okay.
